design & Build:

Let’s talk about iPhone 17 Air. Sorry, I made a mistake. There is no iPhone 17 Air. Apple has named it iPhone Air. The Speciality of this phone is that, first of all, it looks very thin and it is the slimmest iPhone ever. I mean, looking at it, I remembered the iPhone 6. In this, you get the strongest build quality.

I mean, there is a titanium build with a ceramic shield. And this iPhone is only 5.6 mm thin. It seems thinner than my finger. How much will it be than my finger? But the screen size you are getting in this is 6.5 inches with 120 Hz and up to 3000 nits peak brightness. There is ceramic shield protection in both front and back, and its frame is made of titanium. You will get to see it in four stunning colours- Space Black, Cloud White, Light Gold, Sky Blue

Cameras:
Talking about the camera system, you will get to see a 48 megapixel OIS single fusion camera in it. And what did Apple do? Inside this, a 12 megapixel telephoto lens has been integrated. Meaning, it may look like a single camera, but it will do two things. It will take normal photos as well as portraits. And with this, there will be an 18 megapixel selfie. It seems that the photos will be good.

This time on iPhone, you get dual capture video. Where you can show yourself in the front and can also shoot video from the rear. Meaning you can use both the front and rear cameras simultaneously. And this camera will also support 4K DB Vision. For performance.
Chip-Set & Connectivity:

For performance, you will use Apple’s A19 Pro chip in it. Just for your clarity, let me tell you that this A19 Pro chip is also present in the Pro model. But there is a small difference. The chip given to you in the iPhone Air is A19 Pro; in this, you will get a 6-core CPU and a 5-core GPU. In the Pro model, the GPU you will get will be a 6-core GPU. And this time, Ga’s new chip has been used in the iPhone Air, the N1 chip. Understand it simply, what will it do basically? Whatever wireless network, Bluetooth, you will use, AirDrop, etc., it will become better and faster.

And one more thing, brother, this time you will get a new modem. Yes, and Apple has named it C1X. “The C1X chip in iPhone Air is Apple’s advanced cellular modem, doubling the speed of C1 and outperforming iPhone 16 Pro’s Qualcomm modem on sub-6GHz 5G. With 30% better power efficiency, it supports Gigabit LTE and ensures 27-hour video playback, optimising connectivity in the ultra-thin iPhone Air.“
A18 Pro VS A19 Pro
A18 Pro vs A19 Pro — Key metric comparison
Data sources: leaked & benchmark reports (used here for illustrative comparison). Two charts below: raw benchmarks and percent improvements.
Raw benchmark / clock values
Percent comparison (A18 baseline = 100%)
- Single-thread and Multi-thread: Geekbench-like scores used (A18: 3505 / 8658; A19: 3895 / 9746).
- Sustained performance: A18 baseline = 100; A19 ~40% better → 140.
- GPU improvement: ~37% reported → A18 = 100, A19 = 137.
- Clock speeds shown in MHz (A18 ≈ 4050 MHz, A19 ≈ 4260 MHz).
This is a better and more advanced modem than before. But one thing that you may like or may not like is regarding the SIM. Across the globe, with the iPhone Air, you will not get a physical SIM. In this, you will only get e-SIM support. By the way, what is your opinion about this? I like e-SIM, you tell me once do you need a physical SIM.
Otherwise, Apple has said-You will get all-day battery life in iPhone Air, but I have a little doubt here. But let’s not say much right now, let it come, then we will know. The price of this iPhone Air in the US is $999, which is expensive, friend.
