Vivo X300S/Vivo X300T First Look: Big Display, Huge Battery, and Solid Performance

Hey everyone, my name is Raj Singh, and welcome to my blog. Today I’ve brought you the Vivo X300S/Vivo X300T. A lot of people were asking about this phone after my Ultra Review, so here it is. The phone feels quite similar to the earlier X300 series, especially the X300 and X300 Pro. The size has been increased to 6.78 inches, like the Pro model, and the display really stands out.

Unboxing Experience

Inside the box, you get a premium-looking purple case, a 90W fast charger, a Type-C to USB cable, and a SIM ejector tool. The phone also supports 40W wireless charging, which is a nice addition. Overall, the unboxing experience feels complete and premium.

Build and Design

The Vivo X300s/Vivo X300T com X300S/X300T four colours: Green, Purple, White, and Black. The purple variant looks unique and premium, which is why I went with it. The camera bump is large but still smaller than the Ultra. The phone features a glass back with an aluminium frame, giving it a solid feel in hand. You get all the standard buttons and ports, including a USB 3.2 Type-C port, stereo speakers, and microphones. There is no microSD card support, which is worth keeping in mind.

Display Quality

The phone features a 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE Q10 display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and up to 4500 nits peak brightness. It also comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. The display looks sharp, smooth, and very bright. The thin bezels make the viewing experience even better, especially for users who prefer large screens.

Performance and Software

The Vivo X300s/Vivo X300T is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. It runs on Android 16 with OriginOS 6. In daily use, performance feels smooth with fast app launches and good multitasking. Benchmark scores are around 2.8 million, which is slightly lower than expected compared to previous results, but the phone stays cool during use. Geekbench scores are around 2900 for single-core and 8250 for multi-core performance. In stress tests, stability is a bit lower, but this should improve with software updates.

Gaming Performance

Gaming on the Vivo X300s/Vivo X300T is impressive. In PUBG, you can play at Smooth + 144 FPS, which is great for Gamers. The game-play feels stable with no lag or heating issues. Even during intense matches, the phone performs consistently well. Since this is a larger phone compared to the compact X300, it feels more comfortable for long gaming sessions.

Audio Experience

The phone comes with dual stereo speakers that deliver loud and clear sound. Whether you are watching videos or playing games, the audio quality is good and enhances the overall experience.

Camera Setup

The Vivo X300S/Vivo X300T features a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS. The front camera is also 50MP. It includes ZEISS optics, which helps improve overall image quality. You also get multiple zoom options, including up to 100x digital zoom.

Camera Performance

From my first impressions of Vivo X300S/Vivo X300T, the camera performs well. Colours look accurate, and details are sharp. The 3x zoom works really well, and even higher zoom levels produce usable shots. Low-light performance is also good, with less noise in photos. Compared to the X300 Pro, that model may still have an advantage, but this phone competes well with the standard X300.

Video Recording

The phone supports up to 4K 120fps video recording but does not offer 8K recording. The front camera supports 4K at 30 and 60fps. You also get manual controls and pro-level shooting modes, which are useful for content creators.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the Vivo X300S/Vivo X300T makes a strong first impression for its price. It offers a large and smooth display, excellent battery life, solid gaming performance, and a reliable camera setup. The phone does not heat up during heavy usage, which is a big advantage. While the X300 Pro may still have a better camera, this phone is a well-balanced option that competes well in its segment.
